The scanner app you use will be a big factor in how well it works. I used mana box which worked extremely well, when I used unsleeved cards it had zero errors and the majority of cards got picked up right away. The only thing that slows you down is when you have multiples in a row, the app doesn't rescan so you have to manually count and increment the count on the app

As far as the tower itself, it's perfect. The phone tower is adjustable left to right so your camera position can be dialed in perfectly. It does a great job of funneling the cards into the chute. I found the best rhythm when I would rest the next card on the lip, and as soon as the app made the ping sound, flick the end of the card so it shoots to the back wall of the chute and falls down. You can go really fast, I did a 7k collection in the span of a few hours (I did it while I was on mute on a meeting for work)

I received my slinger last week and put it through its paces. It functioned well and made a long tedious task of sorting jumbo boxes of bulk MtG card much faster. It performed as described. I added a button LED to the underside to give better lighting. Well done, I would recommend to anyone else looking at to go ahead and pull the trigger.

I got back into Magic in August of this year, and kind of went a little overboard by buying entire play booster boxes just about every week! I’ve really been struggling, trying to figure out how to best catalog my collection both to save me money for not purchasing too many copies of certain expensive cards, but also to help with deck building. With the card slinger 2.0, I finally have a quick, easy, convenient way to do just that. It works perfectly both for sleep and sleeved cards, and has helped me go through thousands of cards in the span of just two days already!

I bought this after I bought a different 3D printed one on Etsy. Took a while to get used to the design of this one but now I prefer it. I can’t think of a single issue with it. I’ve ran a few thousand cards through it and have many more thousands to go. 6 STARS!
