Remove and re-position the phone stand. If you're using the adjustable stand, pivot and adjust its arms to best frame your phone over the card.

The Card Slinger has many drawer types available — accommodating standard sized and JPN sized cards, sleeved, unsleeved, and perfect-fit sleeved. Pick the right one and get ready to scan.

In Manabox, enable quick mode to scan continuously. If a result is wrong (misidentified foil or set), tap the "normal" or set icon to change those details. For bulk foil scanning, the "prefer foil" checkbox lets you scan foils separately from non-foils.

Here's a helpful Manabox getting-started guide →. Once scanned, edit any details and save to your collection or decks. Export as .csv or text for sites like Moxfield and Archidekt.

The best results come from indirect, generous, soft lighting that doesn't produce harsh shadows. A dedicated external light isn't required — and direct light can sometimes make things worse. Patience and experimentation will yield near-perfect results.

Scanning sleeved cards can produce mixed results depending on the app, sleeve type, and lighting. Experiment with your space for best results. The Lite version of the Card Slinger only supports unsleeved scanning.
